Dr. Girma Ababi

With an MD from Gondar University and specialized training in Pathology from Addis Ababa University, Dr. Girma has bridged the gap between academic research and clinical application. His work as an Assistant Professor at Hawassa University allowed him to mentor hundreds of medical professionals before pivoting to large-scale healthcare systems.

According to his public advocacy, Dr. Girma believes that "Healthcare is a fundamental human right, not a luxury." This belief led him to establish the Private Health Facilities Association of Southern Ethiopia, where he currently serves as President, advocating for better policy integration between public and private sectors.
